Lathrop GPM Moves Office Space to 3131 McKinney Avenue

5/13/2024

The new office space continues the firm's transition to a hoteling-hybrid model.

DALLAS, TX (May 13, 2024) — Lathrop GPM LLP is pleased to share that the firm's Dallas office will be moving mid-July to 3131 McKinney Avenue, located in the heart of the Uptown/Turtle Creek neighborhood. The new office space will continue the firm's transition to hybrid layouts featuring open and private seating as well as assigned workspaces that increase collaboration, allowing the firm to support its clients more efficiently. The McKinney Avenue building was selected in part due to its flexibility to accommodate future growth.

This is the sixth transition to Lathrop's new hoteling-hybrid model following the firm's recent office moves in Boston, Chicago, Denver, Minneapolis, and St. Louis. To keep its people connected while offering flexibility, Lathrop GPM began evaluating and modifying its current real estate footprint in 2022. The new 4,009 square-foot Dallas office space is a continuation of the firm's new hybrid-hoteling concept supporting both flexible hybrid workspaces and in-person interactions that foster relationship building. The office will allow attorneys and professional team members to reserve space for on-site work as well as the type of space, such as private office, open space or a conference room. With direct access to the M-Line Trolley connection and all of McKinney Avenue and Uptown, the office offers more than 100 walkable amenities.

"As our real estate needs have evolved, we've whole-heartedly embraced the change," said Chief Operating Officer Courtney Landon. "The hoteling-hybrid model allows our attorneys and professionals to engage efficiently and reinforces our commitment to the firm's culture of collaboration and client service. It is good fiscal policy and common sense to use what you need instead of estimating and missing the mark. As a firm, we will continue to evaluate our space based on client needs and market demands, using a forward-looking approach to invest in the areas that will best serve our attorneys, professionals, and clients for the long-term."

The move follows several significant partner-level hires who will be headquartered in the new Dallas office space including, nationally recognized white-collar litigator Mike Piazza, energy industry transactions veteran, Robert Lord, and Carlos White, a leader in Lathrop GPM's Franchise & Distribution Practice Group. Opening in 2019, Lathrop GPM's Dallas office is the home base for a team of seasoned legal professionals and attorneys focused on all phases of complex litigation.
