Womens Council
In June of 2007, Lathrop & Gage established a Womens Council. The Council is composed of women who are members in the firm and meets at least once a month. The mission statement of the Council is as follows:
- The Womens Council is an established firm committee, championed by the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Committee of the firm. The CEO and Executive Committee have committed to assist the Council with its mission.
- The Council is a collaborative effort between all women attorneys in the firm, and with other established committees within the firm.
- The Council makes recommendations to and serves as advisor to Executive Committee on firm issues.
- The Council provides support, firmwide networking and mentoring for women in the firm.
- The Council works to develop a firm culture that acknowledges and affirms that successful women attorneys are an integral part of the firm and essential for its future success.
